If you have any questions or you would like to become a volunteer, simply contact us.
Picking and Packing – morning sessions are 10-12.30 and afternoons are 1.30 -4. Please arrive 10 minutes earlier if possible. If you are volunteering at Another Weigh, shop opening is 9.30-5 apart from Saturdays when it shuts at 4pm. We suggest mornings 10-1 and afternoons 1-4 but if you need to leave earlier please let a member of staff know.
Dress for the weather. If picking daffodils, we recommend boots with a grip, long sleeves to protect from nettles, a hat and gardening gloves. If you are packing you may wish to wear gloves to protect your hands.
If you are picking, please bring water and sun cream. If packing, please bring any refreshments you will need.
If you are picking daffodils please park at Lowther Visitors car park and meet outside the ticket office10 mins before the sessions. If you are packing the location is as before Home Farm, Lowther, Penrith, CA10 2HH. What3Words is: ///iterative.places.newly. If you are helping at Another Weigh the shop is New Squares next to Boots Opticians.
There is plenty of parking in front of the production barn. Please note that parking is limited to 3 hours at Sainsbury’s.
Lowther Castle is a few minutes drive away. The café is open 11-3.30, so you can get lunch here after or before your session.
Yes! Toilets are across the yard from the barn.
The daffodils that you make will be sold and the proceeds will go to our six nominated charities. You will be able to buy a daffodil via our website while stocks last.
