How much do they cost?

The daffodils are £25 plus post and packaging

When will my daffodil arrive?

The daffodils will be shipped between July and September 2023.

When can I collect my daffodil

Collection is from Another Weigh, Penrith, Cumbria UK, between 3rd and 21st July. Must bring email confirmation and order number when they pick up.

Can I ask for a specific delivery date?

We are sorry, but we won’t be able to let you know in advance when your daffodil will arrive. The 10,000 daffodils will be packed and posted by volunteers. We will dispatch them in batches over a period of 2-3 months.

Why can’t I receive my daffodil straight away?

Your daffodil will be part of an art installation in the gardens at Lowther Castle from 24th April-24 June 2023. After that, the daffodils will be packed and posted out by volunteers.

What if my daffodil is a gift?

You will receive an email confirmation of your purchase with the option to download a gift certificate which you can forward to the recipient to let them know you have purchased the daffodil. Please put the recipient’s name and address as the delivery address if you want it to be sent directly to them. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to include a personalised message to say who the daffodil is from, so make sure you let the recipient know you have purchased it for them.

Why does my bank statement say that my payment went to Another Way?

We have partnered with one of our beneficiary charities, Another Way, to administer the project. Your payment will go into Another Way’s account, but the proceeds of the sales will then be divided between all of our beneficiary charities in the proportions which we have agreed with them.

Why does the stem of my daffodil look muddy?

Your daffodil will have been “planted” in the ground for 2 months before it is sent to you. It may therefore have some mud on it which will wipe off.

What happens if my daffodil arrives damaged?

If your daffodil is damaged on arrival, please take a photo straight away and email mydaffs@tenthousanddaffodils.org within 14 days of receipt. We will get in touch to resolve this with you. Stem may be rusty, this is intentional.

Can I display my daffodil outdoors?

Yes, the daffodil can be displayed outdoors, but we recommend that you bring it inside during the colder months.
